As one of America’s largest retailers, we also work hard to minimize our impact on the environment. That’s why ALDI is proud to receive two great recognitions from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In 2021 & 2020, we received the Green Power Leadership Award celebrating our commitment to advancing the voluntary green power market and helping to reduce air pollution and emissions. We have also received the EPA's GreenChill Store Certification for four consecutive years in addition to earning the Re-Certification Excellence Award for select stores. Since September 2022, we have had more than 500 GreenChill Certified Stores across the country. We’re committed to building on our sustainability goals through recycling and building environmentally friendly warehouses & stores.
