The National Real Estate (NRE) team is a rapidly growing department that offers candidates the opportunity to get involved with the store-building process. That means collaborating with the many departments outside of NRE, spreading the ALDI story to new locations and working alongside a supportive, enthusiastic team.
National Real Estate Career Areas
National Procurement
The National Procurement team sources and procures non-merchandise items to support national ALDI stores, warehouses and divisional offices.
Facilities
The Facilities team looks for cost-cutting opportunities to help drive business results. These opportunities often include day-to-day expenses and operational inconveniences that may prevent ALDI employees from completing their tasks or projects.
Systems & Sustainability
The Systems & Sustainability team oversees the company’s carbon footprint and all operations emissions. You’ll collaborate with the Energy team to help control lighting, heating and cooling expenses to drive energy efficiency, as well as the Refrigeration team to help implement new technologies and lower the ALDI carbon footprint.
Warehouse Development
The Warehouse Development team is responsible for the design, development and growth of new regional distribution centers across the United States. You’ll also assist in expanding and renovating existing facilities by working closely with warehouse operations. Through this team, you’ll inherit a keen understanding of how ALDI facilities operate and can take the skills you’ve learned into transforming distribution centers as we know them.
Real Estate Analytics
The Real Estate Analytics team reports and analyzes data reported by other departments, including Store Development, Facilities, Sustainability, Project and Construction. Through that data, the team draws insights to help inform business decisions across ALDI.
Real Estate Services
The Real Estate Services team guides and directs national projects that impact ALDI stores across the country. With a wide range of responsibilities, from property sales to custom graphic design, this team plays a key role in building the ALDI store fleet that customers interact with each day.
Store Development
The Store Development team supports the identification, procurement and development of each ALDI store location. From handovers to grand openings, this department is actively involved in ensuring the growth that ALDI enjoys will continue — while maintaining the quality that customers and employees expect.
