Q: What departments make up ALDI?
A: ALDI National Services is comprised of 7 main departments: National Buying Services, National Customer Interaction Services, National Supply Chain Management Services, National Finance & Administration Services, National Information Technology Services, and National Real Estate Services. We also support our Divisional Offices throughout the United States.
Q: Is ALDI National Services hiring?
A: Yes! Here at ALDI, we’re always looking to add talented & motivated people to our ever-growing National Service departments, which include: National Buying Services, National Customer Interaction Services, National Supply Chain Management Services, National Finance & Administration Services, National Real Estate, National Information Technology Services, and our Divisional Offices.
Q: Does ALDI offer any employee benefits?
A: ALDI offers eligible employees a competitive benefits package including major medical, dental and vision insurance, as well as life insurance, short and long term disability, a 401(k) plan, vacation time, sick time and 7 paid holidays.

Q: What does training look like within National Services?
A: Within National Services, we provide hands-on training in an effort to expose each new hire to our company policies and procedures along with our internal databases and functionalities.
Q: How does the organization support professional development and career growth?
A: ALDI supports professional development and career growth by empowering its employees to provide recommendations in an effort to streamline a process or by providing solutions to solve a particular problem. Also, all of our employees have the ability to view and apply for opportunities within our internal job portal.
Q: How often do you receive feedback from your Direct Leader(s)?
A: You receive feedback from your direct leader(s) very frequently. Employees have check-ins with their direct leader(s) to follow-up on any existing projects and this is a chance to ask any additional questions they may have. Aside from check-ins we have yearly performance reviews where employees can have an open conversation about their contributions and ultimate goals moving forward.
Q: Does ALDI value work-life balance and if so, how is it shown throughout National Services?
A: We pride ourselves on placing a high value on work-life balance! Our core operating hours are 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time Monday through Friday. Employees work with their direct leader to establish a schedule that works best for them and the company. Employees come to work extremely focused because once their shift is complete, they are able to go home, rest, recharge, and get ready for the following work day.
Q: Does ALDI National Services have a dress code?
A: The dress code here at ALDI Inc. is “Smart Casual” in an effort to maintain our strong sense of pride in the way we conduct business. Appropriate “Smart Casual” dress typically includes slacks, khakis (chinos), nice jeans (not faded/distressed, no holes) or cropped pants; collared dress shirt, polo, or blouse with an open-collar; a dress or skirt at knee-length or below; an optional blazer/sport coat; knit shirt or sweater; and loafers or casual/dress shoes that cover all or most of the foot.
Internships
Q: Does ALDI National Services offer any internship programs for students?
A: The National Services department offers internships to college students for credit/non-credit. We plan to extend our program to additional departments as ALDI continues to grow and expand.
